Overview
A Playground for Collaborative Storytelling
InkLink is a collaborative writing platform designed to make creativity more playful, social, and low-pressure. Instead of starting from a blank page, writers enter a living network of stories that can be continued, branched, and reimagined together.
Problem
How might we create a space where collaborative writing feels safe, structured, and playful?
Most writing tools prioritize structure, ownership, and polished output—making early-stage writing feel rigid and solitary.
As a result, collaboration rarely happens during ideation, where it matters most.

Research
We conducted 9 surveys and interviews with writers across different backgrounds:
100%
use digital writing tools.
87.5%
value guidance in formatting and publishing.
22.2%
collaborate during early ideation.
Opportunity Areas…
Low-Pressure Collaboration
Make early collaboration feel lightweight
and low-risk.

Beyond the Blank Page
Transform writing into something
interactive and evolving.

Guided, Not Restricted
Support creativity with structure—without
limiting it.

Defining the Experience
Using user personas to stay grounded in real experiences, we mapped flows and structure to support quick, discreet actions in high-stress worksite conditions.
I reviewed past materials to identify inconsistencies and uncover opportunities to refine the pixel-based identity.
